Hazelnut Practice Partners is a "third option" for independent dietitians and nutritionists in the Pacific Northwest. We aren’t a traditional group practice or a billing company. We are a practice-partner model that provides solo clinicians with the high-reimbursement insurance contracts and administrative infrastructure of a large group, without sacrificing their brand or autonomy.

You continue to run your practice and see your clients as normal. We credential you through our contracts and you decide which telehealth patients to run through Hazelnut, whether its just some or all of them. We handle the billing, claims, and follow up. You get the benefit of our contracted rates, and we handle the paperwork.

If you are already credentialed with our payers, you can get started in as little as 2 weeks. If you are not credentialed yet, it can take 2-3 months to get in with all payers.

We believe in partnerships based on value, not "lock-in" contracts. Our agreements are designed to be flexible and non-exclusive. You can choose to send specific payers through Hazelnut while maintaining other parts of your practice independently. We want to be a resource you want to use, not one you’re stuck with.

We offer transparent, flat-rate tiers based on the insurance plan, with payouts ranging from $90–$180 per hour. Compensation is earned when insurance pays the claim.

You partner with Hazelnut as a 1099 independent contractor. This is a core pillar of our model: you remain a business owner with the advantages and flexibility that come with it while also joining a high-leverage network.

While we may occasionally receive patient inquiries and would be happy to pass them along to you, this is not something we formally offer at this time.
